Well, here are some of the newest in Indie coats that I’ve found http://www.phixclothing.com. I shall just put up a few of my favorites that I saw while browsing through the site and you can check them out at their website if you like what you see. The first one is a stunning in-house custom tailored jacket that keeps you toasty warm and also makes you look like every band member from My Chemical Romance. One of the jacket's main features are its close fit style, it's well accentuated shoulder pads as well as its double row of buttons. It gives the wearer a military, rocker style.  The next one is the retro preppy look that has a great grey Marle Harvard look. It again looks great with its all white long sleeves and red lined piping at the sleeves, hem and collar. This jacket can be worn over a cool rocker tee with retro blue jeans and you can't forget those classic canvas sneakers to go along with them. 
This is a third one of the newer coats. It'll make you look like the smart opinionated rocker that every groupie is dying to get into bed with. It has a classic gold detail across the front of the jacket. It's curved, tailored fit, military styled cuffs and shoulder detail finishes off with a stylish back patch (not in picture). 
This brand new exclusive jacket is new for this season. The pointed collar is one of the most popular of the faux leather jackets and it’s being exclusively in-house designed for Phix Clothing. You seriously can't go wrong with the pointed faux leather in your wardrobe. Its stylish patterned seam details give it a unique front. The design is inspired by the golden era of the 60s and 70s; this is shown in its slim fit, tailored design, gorgeous retro cuffs and zipper detail. Other unique features include its ultra stylish vertical waist pockets, which really help enhance the vintage feel. Carrying on the retro feel is the featured pointed collar, which really help complete this jacket. The great thing about this jacket is its eternal style; you will never get bored or be out of fashion with this in your wardrobe. 
The rocker look comes complete with the plaid shirt.

From Elgar Johnson, the Menswear Editor of i-D and former assistant to Simon Foxton, this STYLED is a collection of overtly-military looks created with a range of product – from FilMelange and Christopher Shannon to Alexander McQueen and Rick Owens. Elgar client's list includes Stone Island, Moschino and Nike. Born in Peterborough, he initially left school to work for his dad's heavy haulage company. After falling into modeling Elgar was "adopted" by Simon Foxton and welcomed into his new family, which included Jonathan Kaye and Jason Evans. Elgar’s career at i-D started after 'a meeting with Terry and Tricia in their very nice kitchen'. 
      
A graduate of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Art, the Belgian-born Martin Margiela founded Maison Martin Margiela in 1988 before showing his first women's ready-to-wear collection for spring/summer 1989. While his work is closely associated with the deconstructionist fashion movement of the 1980s, it is characterised by a poetic appreciation of imperfection, personality and eccentricity; Margiela collections have been presented on tube platforms and street corners. He says of his work, ‘my main inspiration has always has been the extremities and changes of daily life.’ Although Martin left his eponymous brand in late 2009, his legacy is continued by a design team dedicated to furthering his vision.

Yes, normally when you think of subjects coursing through a man’s mind, you won’t usually stop at American Idol. Last night though was a completely different situation. It seems like everyone is finally coming around in the idea that “sex sells”. American Idol’s ratings last night jumped through the roof and that not counting the amount of Tweets, Facebook status updates and Youtube searches that will surely follow last night’s airing. Now I’m sure you’re wondering why am I going on and on about last night’s elimination show. I mean considering the two contestants were teenagers and they would soon be heard only by those whom either love or don’t mind country, but truth is they were not even the center of attention last night. Countless celebrities from both past and present took to the stage, but there were a few that stuck out. First up: Lady Gaga. Now we know she loves pushing the envelope and it’s rare that you shouldn’t expect to talk about her the next day, but last night, wow! She took to the stage in a very eye grasping set complete with a cliff edge making sure she would be the main focus. Singing her new single “Edge of Glory” with only a few dancers and one main dancer that sure was able to keep her attention. Leaving little to the imagination as they wrapped their hands around every inch of each other’s body and ending with of course, them jumping off the cliff. Hey, you can’t have a song speaking about the edge and not end it by taking a plunge. Second up: Mark Anthony and JLo (Jennifer Lopez), although I honestly don’t remember seeing Mark Anthony once JLo hit the stage…or should I say JLo’s ass. She sure did grab everyone’s attention when she showed off her best assets and shook what her mama gave her. Of course, you add in the sexy salsa dancing and you have one extremely hot number and a whole lot of people wanting more of it. Last up: Beyoncé, of course. Could a night be complete if we didn’t throw her in the mix? Honestly she could have just danced and it would have been just as amazing, but instead she sang. Now yes, usually it's her voice that moves an audience, but last night the movement was a result of everyone squirming in their seats as Beyoncé repeated the line “make love to me” over and over and yes, over again. I was sure willing to comply. Don't worry; we aren't aiming to disappoint you if you didn't catch last night's airing. We've added the video to help you understand what the entire buzz is about. The reality star was proposed to on May 18 by New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries. Yes, he shows that it's ok to be old fashioned by getting down on one knee and asking "Will you marry me" after only 6 months of dating. We don't have to fill you in on what happens after, but we have to mention that if you’re still planning on competing with him, you'd have to come with a diamond bigger than the custom-designed 20.5 carat diamond she's currently flashing on her ring finger. He probably knew if he was going to win her heart, he'd probably first have to win her eyes. Kim gushes that she wasn’t expecting the proposal, but Kris knew exactly what he was doing when he asked to marry one of the sexiest ladies in the world. After all, the infamous song every woman is singing is “If you like it, then you should have put a ring on it.” Guess he can have her; after all, we'll always have the internet to keep our imaginations flowing with juicy details filled with “what if’s”.  fashion tips for larger men Well then, being a relatively large person myself, I've always found that trying to look good in something can be quite hard because every time I walk into a store, whatever I try on either looks too baggy on me or it accentuates my curves and especially my big beer belly. But, if there is one big man out there who knows how to dress, that would have to be Cedric "The Entertainer". The man inspired me not to get intimidated every time I walked into a store. I'm not much of a fashion junkie myself, but I've learnt that with just a few tips kept in mind, every larger man, no matter what his size can look just as smoking hot as every other ripped twink that there is out there. Well, then I guess we can start with the pants first. The first thing to understand about pants when buying them is to never pick anything that's way too big. You might think that your big ass is well covered but buying big baggy pants only makes them look bigger. The baggy look may work if you're wearing sneakers or other such shoes but I'd leave that up to your own discretion. The trick to trying to buy decent pants is to analyze where most of your height comes from. Your torso or your legs? Then try to balance the two out. If you have a large torso then try to compensate for this by wearing a short coat. However if it's your legs, then opt for pants that are cut slightly trim and straight. It is a myth that front pleats should be avoided by chubby guys, but front pleats actually help conceal a paunch. As far as shirts go, try buying shirts that pass evenly across your man boobs and do not tuck under them, this usually comes from tucking in your shirt properly or by just the general fit of the shirt itself. You might want to check that out for yourself when buying a shirt. As far as t-shirts go, don't be afraid to try on something a little baggy, something that falls over your belly fairly well. Try to look for something that comes across your shoulders fairly comfortably and the end of the sleeve should come just slightly above your elbow. It'll make it look as though you have a decent bicep but still covers the rest of your arm (If you're worried about showing
your chubby arms). Designs on shirts can be used such as pleats but since I like larger men myself, I think single colors look best on guys as it shows off a nice broad chest as well. If you're very concerned about your size, then you could buy vertical stripes that help conceal the curves on your body I cannot stress the importance of buying decent underwear. When going out, refrain from wearing boxers as it gives your ass an ugly lumpy look. Wearing tight underwear gets rid of those dimpled fat outlines that are clearly visible outside the underwear. But if you're like me and hate wearing tight underwear, then opt for something that's a bit more comfortable, something that's not too tight on the crotch and doesn't leave elastic marks on your skin. A lot of guys and girls like to slip their hands into the back pockets of their partners when getting cuddly with them, so there's nothing sexier than a smooth big ass that doesn't find in his/her hand. As far as hair styles are concerned, an afro seems to suit my body type so I stick with that. If you have a lot of face fat, then I suggest you go with a neat formal look, something short and smart but not military. Think of a hairdo that'll make your partner want to run their hands through, and last but not the least get maintain that killer smile and that warmth in your eyes which everyone likes. I cannot stress enough the importance of every big man being proud of his size. Besides, I just read an article that said that big boned men last longer in bed. Be happy with the size you are and don't try to look for clothes that you saw the mannequin wearing at the shop. Although many men would dispute the lyrics in the new Beyoncé single; they will stop short when it comes to disputing how sexy she truly is. Striking strong in every perspective this woman can run any man's world. Beyoncé began her quest to run the world from the moment she could sing her first lyric. Looking up to divas such as Whitney Houston and Barbara Streisand, she knew some day she would capture the same admiration. Conquering not only the singing world, but also that of a fashion designer, actress, song writer and mentor, she continues to be the same humble woman her family has always known her to be. Always striving to be her best and never letting failure get to her (although there aren't many to count). We've seen her grace the pages of many magazines and we will never deny that in the end we always want more (or maybe less, if we are speaking of clothing options) of Beyoncé. She always manages to pull it through with class, always maintaining herself as a role model for young woman and even men. Yes men! Gender has no role when it comes to her dedication to everything she does and the amount of time she puts into becoming as successful as she is. So men, let's just tune out the lyrics to her song and watch the beautiful movements her body creates in this video all while secretly envying Jay Z for being married to her.
