For his graduate project, from Design Academy Eindhoven, Philip Luschen collaborated with a local hospital to explore the theme of “waiting”. He researched multiple locations in the hospital to observe how people experience waiting and translated this process into objects he called “Distractors”. His concept was to take places of “greyness” and turn them into experiential moments.
