Colette and Aston Martin collaborate to release the compact yet sporty Cygnet city car. The Colette X Aston Martin Cygnet City Car, Automotive Fashion For City Living. The exterior of the car has a brilliantly silver body with a Colette blue paint job along parts of the car (see picture).  Cygnet City Car The interior of the car comes with a suave bitter chocolate coloring that was inspired by Colette's Labrador, Oscar. It also features diamond turned road wheels as well as a race collection front bumper. The car will be available for a retail price of around 48,000 euros. Here's a closer look at the new "consumer offering" of Aston Martin (given that Aston Martin will only be making 14 models initially). The interior of the car sports stainless steel hand formed door latches on the inner door panels. The "Cygnet & Colette" brand boot badging that is hand enameled by Thomas Fattorini and the quilted Alcantara Sun Visors all compliment the beautifully quilted leather doors and seat inserts. The back seats are quilted blue leather occasional cushions and the "Cygnet & Colette" brand logo that appears on the satellite navigation start up. An original "Cygnet and Colette" key ring that is that is made from solid aluminum and blue enameling also comes along with the car.  Cygnet Marek Reichman, The creative director for Aston Martin said that it was only perfect sense that Aston Martin and Colette collaborated on a car since they managed to blend modernity and innovation with the Cygnet car. It only made sense that the two companies made this piece of automotive fashion for city living. More than the functionality of the car, Aston Martin and Colette both focused more on the external design of the car and therefore took initiative towards the colors, materials and styling of the car. Mercedes Benz CLS 2012 The car is a top of the line luxury class car that comes fully equipped with a highly developed bi-turbo engine by the name of AMG V8. It has an output power level of up to 557 hp that produces about 800 Nm of torque power. Another distinguishing feature of the Mercedes Benz CLS is that it has optional LED High Performance Active headlamps. This unique feature boasts of an impressive design. The inside of the LED headlamps are clearly defined into three arrow shaped layers: The sidelights are still very visible though, even if the high beam power of the headlights are switched are on. The 2012 CLS has 71 separated LED lamps built into the headlight which gives this model its distinct appearance while offering a considerable enhanced view of the road unlike the previous models which did not match up to this quality. The Mercedes Benz CLS 2012 will be available in three different models. One will be the 2010 Mercedes Benz CLS 550 which will have an engine of 4.7 liters and a 402 hp V8 characteristic as well. Another variation of the same model will have a 5.5-liter 518-hp turbocharged V8 engine. The other one is the Mercedes Benz CLS 63 which has a 7 speed automated manual transmission that acts similar to those of most other automated transmission. Porsche Design P’6520 Compass Watch Remake Priced At $6,000. Porsche design has gone retro (yet again), with the release of the Porsche Design P'6520 Compass Watch. The original Compass watch was made with a measurement of 38 millimeters in aluminum.  Porsche Design P'6520 Compass Watch However, the modern model is a 42 millimeter wide titanium watch. It also has a stronger and harder metal case and has a PVD coating that is superior to the original model's, this is only because the use of PVD coatings and Titanium was still very new in the '70s when the original model had come out. However, today's methods of using the two are a lot more mature and therefore have resulted in a far superior quality of the Porsche Design Compass Watch. The case of the watch was first sandblasted before the PVD coating could be put. The resultant look is a glossy one with an amazingly smooth tactile experience. The feel is something that you'll have to experience yourself as the watch feels absolutely wonderful to just run your finger over with. The dial of the watch lifts up to reveal a mirror (which Porsche Design guarantees is scratch resistant) as well as a traditional liquid compass.
