For those who missed our live stream, last week saw the inimitable Daphne Guinness visit our Bruton Place studio to become our latest In Fashion interviewee. An authority on haute couture and true fashion original, Guinness spoke of Spanish childhood summers, the art-form of couture and working with some of fashion's greatest visionaries. Following our streams, the edit of Guinness' one-on-one with SHOWstudio.com fashion director Alexander Fury will launch next week, joining our selection of some of the most influential and intriguing figures in fashion.

LIVESTUDIO - MARY KATRANTZOU
Following on from the wonderful Stephen Jones' festive 'Glamour On A Budget' masterclass, the latest addition to our LiveStudio project documents the December 2010 residency by London print princess Mary Katrantzou. COMING UP
TRANSGENDER
Inspired by Nick Knight and Nicola Formichetti's Heroes and Pin-Ups shoot for Arena Homme Plus, our latest project explores the subject of transgenderism in contemporary fashion. Showcasing an exclusive fashion film created from footage captured during this two-day shoot, Transgender lays bare the influences and references behind the editorial, including an online gallery of the fashion story and unpublished images, and a selection of drawings from artist Mel Odom, one of the triggers for Knight and Formichetti's imaginations. These visuals are framed by exclusive written interviews with Knight and Odom, and also with transsexual performance artist, model and adult star Danni Daniels, to explore every facet of the subject matter.

Transgender launches next week on SHOWstudio.com

They resembled Italian mafiosi on an extended Riviera holiday. Ironically, their business was suiting and booting rather than cement shoes... [more]
